Old and New

Today, on my drive to school, I noticed that the theater in my hometown, The Oaks, is playing an all-time classic, Casablanca.  It is showing at 11 am on Saturday February 9.  Casablanca is one of those movies that everyone should see in their lifetime.  This movie was rated the number 3 greatest movie of all time, by the American Film Institute in 2007.  The movie holds of the 100 Greatest Movie Lines, according to Premiere in 2007, of “Here’s looking at you, kid.”  If you haven’t seen it you should stop by and check it out, it’s directed by Michael Curtiz and stars Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.

FOX has a new television show that seems to show potential.  The Following is a show about a serial killer and a detective’s hunt for him.  Even though it seems to be like every other crime drama out there is has its own twists and unforeseen turn of events.  The show starts Kevin Bacon and Shawn Ashmore.

  1. That's quite a range. I like them both. I love the Oaks!!

How about a post on the joys of watching classic films? Or one on all the new shows about Cults this season. Why are we so fascinated?

You're still not digging deep enough.
